At a time when French independent artist collectives are dying of hyper-precariousness, a 19th-century convent and its adjoining textile factory standing at the edge of the Spanish Pyrenees has become the home of artists who, for the past 25 years, have transformed it into a place of creation, experimentation and residence for all artistic disciplines. This is where Axel Void brought together 50 local and international artists for a two-month residency, to live an experience of community, exchange, collaboration, and discovery of oneself and others, culminating in an exhibition on the theme of Creença (belief in Catalan).
